RedHat 9

Monday, March 31st, 02003

RedHat 9.0 (Shrike) came out today, but
isn't available via FTP for a week.

I'm using BitTorrent to
download it now though. Talk about a glimpse of P2P's future and validation
of BitTorrent's tech! Remember waiting days or weeks to queue up FTP access
to the latest releases? No longer... Check it out:

Update a few minutes later (the time it took me to write the above):

All is well. I think some people were starting to worry. Had a week off. That was nice. Working on some new website stuff. Not much more until that is finished.

Spring in Albuquerque

Sunday, March 16th, 02003

Spring has is fully arrived here in Albuquerque. 50s to 70s are common now. Very nice. I took a drive east of the Mountains yesterday. I think I want to live there. It's very different than Albuquerque.. rural and green.. a peaceful mountain community minutes from Albuquerque.

While everything is in Spring bloom here, pollen algeries that I didn't know I had are in effect, but Claritin is magic.

Oh yeah, New Mexico is not taking errosion of civil liberties lightly.

Trip to Carlsbad Caverns?
