Photo trip to Northern New Mexico

Yesterday, I left Albuquerque at 10:00AM and went on a road trip. I went to Santa Fe and walked around for a few hours. Then I drove through Española and Chimayo to Truchas. After driving on some unmaintained mountain roads, I went back to Española and then up to Taos. I arrived in Taos and at The Church of St Francis of Assisi at around 6:00 PM. There were no fewer than seven other people shooting photographs of the church. All looked pretty serious... tripods, fat lenses, etc.

Back home in Albuqerque by 9:30PM. Fun day. My ankle got a bit stiff, after the walk around Santa Fe. I think it held up very well though, considering all the metal that's in it.

I culled a few hundred photos down to 38 and classified them as Taos via Santa Fe and Española. Of the 38, I classifed 14 as Best of Taos via Santa Fe and Española.

Google Juice

Wednesday, September 3rd, 02003

Because of some of the following my Google Juice is quite large:

  1. Boing Boing directly linked to this site reguarding a weblog entry of mine talking about Greg Egan's webpage.
  2. A number of weblog entries referencing Ace's Tangle via this entry.
  3. The giant cross-referenced forest of photos
    pages
    on this site.

With this kind of juice:

  1. A search for "bohnsack" is the #1 hit on Google.
  2. A search for "laying ceramic tile photos" is the #1 hit on Google.
  3. A search for "crab apple tree photos" is the #1 hit on Google.
  4. A search for "Frankfurt Germany photos" is the #2 hit on Google.
  5. A search for "Albuquerque photos" is hit #5 on Google.
  6. etc., ...

Very odd. Imangine if this was a decent, real, interesting, and actually read by more than a handful of people weblog? My Google Juice would be most large.
