Intel validates AMD

Wow. Everyone kind of knew this was coming, but Intel just validated AMD's x86_64 platform, by announcing that they will be adding 64-bit features to their "x86" Xeon and Pentiun chips.

Canon has announced its new EOS-1D Mark II digial SLR camera.

28.7mm x 19.1mm 8.2 megapixel CMOS sensor, eight frames per second, 40 frame JPEG image buffer, USB, SD, etc., etc. for $4,499.

I can wait 6-8 months to see if the price goes down, but I require this machine.
