Looks familiar... The scientific computing class sounds very interesting, the primary regret I have from my education so far is a serious gap in the CS side. Some skills in scientific/engineering computing as it relates to solving engineering problems would be most useful. I've often considered spending some time trying to get enough CS to be competent enough to try to gain that skill, but then I have another beer and the feeling subsides. =)

i, personally, use chairs as extra desk space around the computer, whereas it seems you prefer the floor.
indeed floor is far more superior in its breadth of surface area.

To be truly elite you must have the very contemporary and oh-so-comfy Herman Miller Aeron chair to accent your retro, ode-to-the-past desk. Or not.
