On Monday, we drove to Magdalena and then to to top of South Baldy and the Magdalena Ridge Observatory.

    South Baldy is great, done that climb several times on a mtn bike. It's is darn steep, ~ 4000' of gain in about 8mi of dirt road. The views are outstanding. Last time I was there, it was just the lightning observatory. Ditto on the duds, BTW.
